Embers, a free lace design

This month’s word, suggested by Nim on Patreon, is Embers. I’m pleased with the subtle vertical cables in this one and hope you enjoy it too!

Notes:

  • This is a stitch pattern such as might be found in a stitch dictionary. It is not a pattern for a finished object. You will need to add selvedges or some other form of knitted stitches to either side.
  • Embers is a multiple of 12+12 stitches and 12 rows.
  • I’ve made a stitch map for it. Here is a PDF.
  • Designers, please feel free to use this stitch in your patterns.

  1. A lovely way to start the month, and just as winter is approaching too! What an intricate pattern, I can see the embers in it. 😀
